The trainstation of Blanes is a stop on the route between Barcelona and Girona. On this route, which leads along the Medditerranian Sea, you will enjoy marvelous views.

The capital city of the same province, is widely seen as one of the most historic sites of the whole of Spain. This mythical city is situated at the river side of the Onyar in the area Girones, where the rivers Ter, Onyar, Guell and Galligant come together. This has made the city into the middle of trade and different clutures for over 2000 years. It is a crossing point of transportation and communication which as often been the reason of fierce battles. Sightseeing must-sees are the Cathedral of Santa Maria with it's impressive tombs, the monastary of Sant Pere de Galligants, the Arabic baths and the church of Sant Feliu.
Girona is also well known for it's cozy shopping streets.

The metropolitan Barcelona is not part of the Costa Brava. Evenso you should not forget a visit to this remarkeble city during your stay at the Costa Brava. At only 80 kilometers drive this city experience, where traditional and modern comfortably meet, is found. Here you will find many musea like the Gaudi and Miro museum, and many cathedrals like the famous Sagrada Familia. The city center with its narrow streets or the modern Port Olympic makes for excelent shopping. For sportsfans a trip to the Barca football stadium is well spend.
From the busstation of
Lloret de Mar you can take the bus to Barcelona (traveling time approx. 1 hour). Or you can battle with the other 2 million car users for the 600.000 parking places. Driving in Barcelona is an experience of its own! Of course you will find an international airport in this great city.
Blanes disposes of a beautiful sand beach with a really nice boulevard with outdoor cafes and restaurants. It’s also very attractive to walk in the nice harbour. In the shopping labyrinth in the centre you can wander around for hours, while enjoying a nice glass of sangria now and then outside the nice cafes. It’s also worthwhile to visit the botanical gardens.

This coastal town, situated only 80 kilometers from
Barcelona, has become well known in all of Europe as a cosmopolitan resort with a turbulant nightlife. In Lloret de Mar, the memories of the past perfectly combine with lovely sandy beaches.
Lloret was founded from pre-Roman settlements, which can still be visited. Highlights of these architectural treasures are the Church of San Roma, the Castle of Sant Joan and the many chappels. You will also love the botanic gardens of Marimutra in Blanes. Here you can see over 3000 different species of plants.
Vidreres, at 15 kilometers, is a lovely authentic Catalan village where tourist can mingle between the local populace. The towns center has a beautiful church around which the shops are situated.

Lloret de Mar was once, like the neighbouring pitoresque town
Tossa de Mar at only 11 kilometers, a fishermans town. In the second half of the 20th century, however it was discovered by tourism.
This gives Lloret the cozy atmosphere of the old towns center with a labyrinth of shopping streets as well as an active nightlife with many pubs and clubs.
On the wide sandy beaches you can enjoy many watersport activities. The good accessibility of Loret de Mar itself and the many activities like golf courses, waterparks, dolphinarium, horse riding facilities and sportscentra contribute to a perfect holiday.

This is one of the towns on the Costa Brava with most remains from the time it was founded. In those times the coast was pestered with looters from the sea, so people build large citadels to shelter them from harm. In Tossa de Mar, the romantic citadel Vila Vella with its narrow streets is well kept and now harbours many excelent fish restaurants.
Tossa de Mar also has wide sandy beaches, where you can undertake many activities and watersports. You can also walk along the promenade with its many inviting terraces. Tossa is certainly also worth a visit during the evening.
From Tossa you can escape the coastal activities on a trip inland, where you will discover an oasis of tranquility and where you can wittness trades such as pottery and basket weaving.

Lloret de Mar are only an 11 kilometeres drive.

In the charming city of Sant Feliu de Guixols the whole year all kind of activities are organized in the nice car-free centre. You have the occasion to enjoy a walk among the beautiful buildings or to pay a visit to the casino. You can drive through a breathtaking coast road to
Tossa de Mar. We also recommend the big fish market on Sunday.

In this very luxurious millionaires neighbourhood all villas are situated within walking distance from the magnificent sand beach of Sa Conca in a sheltered bay. S’Agaro is located between
Sant Feliu de Guixols and
Playa d’Aro.
The villa neighbourhood is closed by a barrier and protected. This means that even in high season it’s not so busy on the beach. In the large streets of the neighbourhood you find the most fantastic houses. This neighbourhood is perfect for family holidays and permanent residence.

Playa d’Aro is a very cosy city with kilometres of sand beach ( with Red Cross Post), where it is in fact never really busy. On the boulevard and in the shopping streets you find many outdoor cafes, nice bars and luxurious shops. In Playa d’Aro the whole year there are many activities and many citizens of Barcelona like to shop there and enjoy the beach. In Playa d’Aro many excursions are offered: all kinds of water sports (like diving), cultural outings and of course the water and child parks. In the direct surroundings of Playa d’Aro you can find many golf courts. In the evening hours, it’s really nice to walk on the boulevard or through the shopping streets and to drink next something in the bars, or to eat in the restaurants. Perhaps you feel even tempted to visit a disco.

Sant Antoni de Calonge is situated on the coast between the city of Palamos and
Playa d’Aro and it has a really quiet sand beach with a nice boulevard and cosy outdoor cafes and restaurants. The beach and the clear sea are rewarded by the European Union by a Blue Flag for the proper and safe situation that has been created. The citizens are very friendly and easy-going. In Sant Antoni de Calonge mass tourism hasn’t really started. That’s why it’s also really quiet in the evening. When you would like to go out
